Pothole Blackspots
Due to winter damage to road surfaces, there are a number of known blackspots for potholes in/near Leigh:
B4040 - entering Cricklade
Chelworth Crossroads - towards Waterhay
Waterhay - from car park towards Chelworth
Siddington Road, north of Ashton Keynes

Road Closed - Braydon Side, Brinkworth
18th-22nd May
Braydon Side - the road running parallel to the B4042 (Brinkworth) will be closed from the junctions of Dead Lane and Somerford Common Lane.
Wessex Water works.

18th - 19th May
Temporary traffic lights at the Spine Road crossroads. Drainage repairs.
Road Closed - Minety Common / Braydon
22nd May - 9am-4pm
The road between Minety Common and the Braydon crossroads will be closed for pothole repairs.
Road Closed - Sawyers Close, Minety
27th May - 9am-4pm
Sawyers Close in Minety will be closed for pothole repairs.
Roadworks - B4040 Malmesbury Road, Leigh
2nd June
Temporary traffic lights for pothole repairs on the B4040, east of Leigh Crossroads (between crossroads and the Foresters).
Road Closed - B4040 Malmesbury Road, Chelworth
3rd June - 9am-4pm
The B4040 will be closed between Blakehill Nature Reserve and Chelworth Crossroads for pothole repairs.
Road Closed - Chelworth Road / The Forty, Cricklade
8th - 10th June
Chelworth Road will be closed for carriageway repairs between the junction of Chelworth Industrial Estate and The Forty, Cricklade.
Road Closed - Swan Lane, Leigh
10th - 12th June
Thames Water works. Swan Lane will be closed between Cove House and Knapp Farm (on the Minety side of Hillside).
Road Closed - Somerford Common Lane, Minety
11th - 13th June
The road north from the B4042 (Brinkworth) towards Minety (Somerford Common Lane) will be closed as far as the Queen Street junction.
Wiltshire Council investigation works.
Event - Lake 62 Triathlon
25th July
Be aware of cyclists and runners between Ashton Keynes, Minety, South Cerney and Somerford Keynes.
