25 Jan-26 Jan: B4040 Cricklade Road: Carriageway works are scheduled to take place on the B4040 from the Foresters Arms to Bartland Farm (just past the Swan Lane junction) from Monday 25th to Tuesday 26th January
25 Jan: Waterhay & C70: Waterhay (from Swan Lane to the Aston Keynes road) will be closed on 25th January for urgent carriageway repairs.
26 Jan: Waterhay & C70: Waterhay (from the Waterhway car park to the water treatment works towards Chelworth) will be closed on 26th January for urgent carriageway repairs.
22 Feb-24 Feb: Ashton Road: Ashton Road will be closed from the junction of Sawyers Hill (Minety) to the B4696 (Ashton Keynes) from February 22nd to 24th for Gigaclear fibre cabling works.
MyWilts App: With an increase in flytipping incidents in the village, it seems a good time to re-share details of the MyWilts app and website. This provides an easy way of reporting issues to Wiltshire Council, including flytipping, abandoned vehicles, graffiti and broken street lights. The app can be downloaded on a smartphone, or can be accessed through a computer or tablet.
Parish Council Meeting - January: A virtual parish council meeting is being held on 21st Januaryat 6.45. If members of the public would like to attend, they should contact Mandy Thomas for the Zoom link. Click for agenda.
UK Census: The next national census will take place in March 2021. Initial information about the census can be viewed here. here. More details will be released early next year.
Church Improvement: Permission is being sought to make improvements to the community facilities of All Saints Church. The proposal includes removal of some pews and installing a permanent WC to the rear.
