The Minutes of the Meeting held on the 9th July 2026 at 6.45pm at All Saints Church.

3. MINUTES

The Minutes held on 15th May 2026 were approved and signed.

4. REPORTS FROM WILTSHIRE COUNCIL & POLICE

Cllr. Berry reported that anabiotic digester was not wanted because of the extra hgv’s it would bring on the small country roads around the area. The plan to build more houses in Wiltshire is difficult, knowing where to build is a problem.

5. NEW ITEMS

a) The community fund, which the Parish Council use to fund the annual summer party is down to £280.00, this will not cover next year’s party.

6. MATTERS ARISING

a) Speed review on B4696 – waiting for a report from LHFIG. More signage is needed.

b) The annual summer party was well attended despite the atrocious weather. The raffle raised £250.

c) Many thanks to Andy Rumming for cooking the bbq and to Richard Cheston’s family for supplying and erecting the marquee, a donation was given to Prospect House from the PC.

a) Cllr. Baker asked that the electorial boundary should be looked at, this is regarding the land adjacent to Bridge Paddocks on Brayden Road. Clerk to get a map of the parish boundary.

b) Cllr. Read has offered to submit an article into the monthly Parish magazine.
