2. MINUTES
The minutes of the meeting held on the 9th November 2021 were approved and signed.
3. REPORTS FROM WILTSHIRE COUNCIL & LOCAL POLICE
Cllr. Chuck Berry had nothing new to report. Various enforcements were talked about, Chairman to email all outstanding enforcements to Cllr. Berry.
4. MATTERS ARISING
a) SID – A solar panel has been purchased. We can no longer send information from the SID to Wiltshire Police. The data collected will be published when we have more information.
b) White line painting – Cllr. Baker is still waiting to hear when we will have the white lines painted.
c) Cleaning of War Memorial – Clerk has applied for a grant to help pay for the repair, more information to be sent. Cllr. Thomas is going to do a test with a pressure washer to see if we can safely clean it ourselves. Discussion on whether we should get a new one.
g) Enforcements – Cllr. Thomas has emailed Cllr. Chuck Berry with outstanding Enforcements.
6. NEW ITEMS
a) Mr. Tony Bright is planning to build houses on his land, until we see the planning application, we can’t make any comments about this.
b) Precept – It was decided to keep the Precept the same as last year, £4,179.00

b) PL/2021/08448 – Barn Cottage, Brookside Farm, Swan Lane SN6 6RD, Certificate of lawfulness for the use of residential annex as a separate dwelling. No objection from Parish Cllrs. Decision deadline date 03/12/2021. Refuse
c) PL/2021/07585 – 49 Malmesbury Road, SN6 6RG – Proposed carriage house, garage & workshop. No objection from Parish Cllrs. Decision deadline date10/12/2021. Approve with Conditions.
d) PL/2021/08491 – All Saints Church, Swan Lane SN6 6RD – Erection of timber built, disabled access toilet. No objection from Parish Cllrs. Decision deadline date 24/11/2021. Approve with conditions.
e) PL/2021/10317 – 9 Malmesbury Road – Erection of a new storage barn within the field to south east of No.9. No objection from Parish Council. Approved with conditions.
f) PL/2021/10875 – Land at Leighfield Farm, Malmesbury Road, Leigh – To install a new agricultural track and hard stand area. To erect a new steel portal frame, livestock shed to include storage of fodder and farm machinery. Parish Council have objected.
g) PL/2021/09769 – 3 Blakehill View, Malmesbury Road – Lawful development
certificate for a proposed use. Single storey rear infill extension. Refuse.
h) Bournelake Farm Cricklade - Conversion & Extension of Outbuilding to Annexe: (refurbish existing building for habitable use) including side and rear extensions, terrace to office and 7x conservation rooflights. Alterations & Extensions to the Farmhouse: (refurbish existing building) including replacement porch, east gable extension, rear extension, terrace to master bedroom and 5x conservation rooflights. Decision date 5th January 2022. Parish Council has no objection.
i) PL/2021/11418 – 1A Hillside, Leigh – Single storey extension to front elevation, second storey extension to rear elevation. Decision date 3rd February 2022. Parish Council has no objection.

Volunteers needed to pick up prescriptions from Cricklade for villagers who can’t get out. Cllr. Drogomirecki is organizing this.
Vacancies for 2 more Parish Councillors.
The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is in June, making our annual party a celebration of this with the idea of planting a tree and burying a time capsule.
