The Minutes of the meeting held on the 15th September 2025 at 6.30pm at All Saints Church.

3. REPORT FROM WILTSHIRE COUNCIL & LOCAL POLICE

Cllr. Berry – Wiltshire Council is running smoothly; it seems to be more open and honest with more communication. There are a few financial issues which they are working through.


4. MINUTES

The Minutes held on 21st July 2025 were approved and signed.


5. NEW ITEMS

a) Chelworth Lodge – Although in Cricklade parish the lorry park seems now to be encroaching into Leigh.


6. MATTERS ARISING

a) Telephone box – we may be able to find a local decorator to paint it for us.

b) The date for next year’s village party has been provisionally set for 27th June.

c) No updates on the speed review on B4696

Single dwelling of modest size to be used as an Equestrian Manager's House. Utilising the same site that temporary permission was granted (20/05195/FUL) Under consultation.


b) PL2025/04154 Land North of Cross Lanes Farm, Waterhay Lane, SN6 6QY The erection of a new dwelling, studio building, stable building, field shelter and creation of new access with associated landscaping. Under consultation.

PL/2025/00452 Land at 20 Malmesbury Rd. Leigh SN66RH Erection of one dwelling.

PL2025/03873 – Waterhay Barn. Waterhay Lane SN6 6QY Erection of one self/custom build, wheelchair accessible dwelling. Refused 18 th July 2025. Clerk to submit comments from Parish Council.


Enforcement issues.

a) Pound Farm on Swan Lane, 20/05195/FUL, this expired 09/11/2023, there are at least 2 large static caravans on site, one of which is being lived in, a generator is running constantly. Now up for sale.

a) The footpath at Greenacres is overgrown on the ground, Wiltshire Council property.

b) The stile by the Old School House is broken
