PUBLIC ATTENDANCE
Three members of the public attended – Joanne Howse, Tim & Jackie Haines, to
discuss Top Farm planning application and to let us know there have been several daytime burglaries in Cricklade.

The minutes of the meeting held on the 11th September 2023 were approved and signed.

4. MATTERS ARISING
a) Defibrillator – Cllr. West is going to order the smaller pads for children. Siting
for a new one still to be decided.
b) Speed Indicator Device – looking into a repeater system which can be moved
to different locations.
6. NEW ITEMS
a) Emergency flood plan – We are looking at setting up an emergency plan.
volunteers with medical training, 4 x4 vehicles, chainsaws etc. who can be called
upon if there is serious flooding in the village.
b) Leak in the playpark – We are waiting to hear from Greensquare Accord and
Thames Water regarding this matter.
c) Cllr. Baker is hoping to attend the highways meeting on 21st November, comments/questions need to be in by the 14th.

Conversion of agricultural buildings to form a dwelling. Parish Council has no
objection. Under consultation, decision deadline date 17/03/2023
b) PL/2023/02814 – Land west of Pound Farm, Swan Lane SN6 6RD. Partially
retrospective planning application for timber stables, horse track and new
access. Decision date 31/05/2023. Parish Council object to this application.
Approved with conditions.
c) PL/2023/03298 – Wheatleys Farm, Ashton Keynes, Swindon SN6 6NX.
Proposed extraction and processing of sand and gravel, and associated site and
access works including processing plant, silt lagoons, weighbridge, wheel wash, site

for biodiversity enhancement (Resubmission of 17/12064/WCM) Decision

Cllr. Thomas has asked Mrs. Jo Howse to help monitor some of the bridleways
as there are quite a few around the village.
