The Minutes of the meeting held on the 16th March 2026 at 6.30pm at All Saints Church.

3. REPORT FROM WILTSHIRE COUNCIL & LOCAL POLICE

Cllr. Berry said This year's council tax has been raised by 4.99% that is the maximum

amount. Social care accounts for 70% of the budget There is less money for road

repairs, Wiltshire Council is going to borrow 5 million pounds from the government to

help with this. The planning department is short staffed at the moment, so applications

are taking a long time to process.

4. MINUTES

The Minutes held on 26th January 2026 were approved and signed.

5. NEW ITEMS

a) Gryphon Lodge Farm planning applications PL/2026/01081-PL/2026/01085

b) PL/2026/00838 – 46 Malmesbury Road, Leigh, SN6 6RH

c) After the water pumps were repaired last year, they were sited with Cllr. Thomas and

Cllr. Baker. They need to be started at least three times a year to make sure they are

functioning.

6. MATTERS ARISING

a) Speed review on B4696 – waiting for a report from LHFIG. More signage is needed.

b) Elancity Warranty – Clerk to sign agreement form for the invoice. Has now been paid.

closures. PCC newsletter. Paul Blanchard regarding the amount of accidents outside of

Construction of agricultural, Building relocation of an existing building, construction of an additional stable and menage and creation of hard standing.

9. FOOTPATHS AND BRIDLEWAYS

a) Footpath gate is broken and the sign is missing opposite Leigh Hall Farm.

b) The style by the Chancel is rickety, Cllr. Rumming is going to try and repair it.

c) The style on Cllr. Rummings land is falling down, he is going to have a look at it.
