What is V2L, why is it useful in a powercut, and how can you use it to annoy your neighbours? šŸ˜‚Ā

I made a little video this week to show how your EV car can double-up as a back-up generator for running essential appliances when the lights go out.

My (cynical) neighbours were asking how long the battery would last.

After 4 hours, I'd only used 5% of the car's battery! (Admittedly, I wasn't running any heaters or kettles which would've bumped up the figures.)

The lead I am running from the car was from EV Cables. It's got a standard UK 3-pin socket on the end that can carry up to 2.5 kW.

Overall, a very successful live test! šŸš— ⚔ šŸ Ā
