Well I've certainly been to less glamorous locations for a conference! 🏎️🏎️🏎️

I spent today at the Travis Perkins Customer Summit at Silverstone, getting the latest news on their WholeHouse project, chatting to HVAC manufacturers, and spreading the word about how social housing landlords need to prepare now for EPC Reform in 2030.

I grabbed the opportunity to talk to Selvin Brown, Director for Net Zero Buildings at DESNZ, about how us SAP/ HEM assessors need Government to shout from the rooftops about these regs changes, so it doesn't come as a shock when we start issuing failing EPC reports.

There's only so much awareness one nerd with a blog can deliver 😉

The conference was held in the iconic Silverstone pit lane building. No racing on the day, but can't complain for the price of the ticket!

The Travis Perkins Customer Summit included two exhibition halls. Plenty of heating and ventilation manufacturers me for to chat to.

A really interesting presentation by Selvin Brown from DESNZ. A man more excited about EPC Reform than I am!

The Travis Perkins WholeHouse project sells a house design, and all the required materials, to developers. A 21st century revamp of the 1950s Airey concept.
