The 4014 Project Archive

Welcome to The 4014 Project archive.

We spent eleven years highlighting, promoting and encouraging local musicians on the Wiltshire and Gloucestershire border.

Starting with a one-off open mic night in Malmesbury in August 2005, The 4014 Project was born; bringing live music to rural communities across north Wiltshire, the Cotswolds and Stroud districts.

In this time we’ve showcased local music of all styles both in venues, on the street and over the airwaves. We’ve raised thousands of pounds to help support our cause, and re-donated to other good causes and charities. We've even managed festival stages; most notably at Westonbirt Arboretum's Treefest weekend.

That was 4014 in it's heyday.

We have now wound down The 4014 Project, although the team are still doing things in our own little ways to help promote our muso friends when we can.

This website has been created to archive some of our achievements, to reminisce about Treefest performances, to link through to our new projects, to tell you about upcoming events from the 4014 family, and - most importantly - to ensure The 4014 Project isn't forgotten anytime soon.
